With El Chicano newspaper, the oldest Chicano (Hispanic, Latino, Mexican) newspaper in the Inland Empire, the issues of the Chicano community are not forgotten by the other major media serving the community.

The Colton Courier is based in Colton, California and is one of California's oldest newspapers. It goes back to the days of The Earps, Wyatt and Virgil, when Virgil was town Marshall. The Courier started in 1878 which predates the Main County Daily.

The Rialto Record is based in the City of Rialto, California. It was originally a newspaper for the citrus industry.

In 2005, the Inland Empire Weekly was launched to cover the communities of Loma Linda, Redlands and Highland, California.
