Parents Night Out
Saturday, May 17: Girl Scout Troop 1354 fundraiser. Parents are invited to allow the girl scouts to babysit their children from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Fontana Community Church, 8316 Sierra Avenue, Fontana. Children will enjoy fun activity stations run by the girls, dinner and snacks provided. Cost: $5 per hour per child, $3 each additional child. This is a troop money earning activity and all proceeds earned will go toward the girls educational trip to San Francisco.
Please note: Children must be 4 years of age and up, and must be potty trained. We will have Girl Scouts and parents with Red Cross babysitting, First Aid and CPR training.

The Unforgettables Foundation Wine Extravaganza
Sunday, May 18: Ontario Airport Hilton, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. $60 per person for 65 show quality wine sips and 15 top end restaurant samples. Proceeds benefit The Unforgettables Foundation - helping families provide decent burials for their children. For more information, please call (909) 725-9197.

Malki Museum Fiesta
Sunday, May 25: Each Memorial Day Sunday the Biggest Little Museum in the World plays host to a traditional indigenous celebration of community, family, and culture at the Fiesta at Malki. All are welcome to this event, and there are no entrance or parking fees. The 44th Annual Fiesta will begin at 10 a.m. at the Museum, located at 11-795 Fields Road on the Morongo Reservation in Banning, California. Take the Fields Road exit off of the I-10, head north, and follow the signs to the museum.

4th Annual Taste of Rialto
Thursday, Jun. 5: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. in downtown Rialto (northeast corner - Riverside and Rialto Avenues). Tickets $25 per person. For more information contact the Rialto Chamber of Commerce at (909) 875-5364.

Summer Sale
Saturday, Jun. 7: The Women’s Club of San Bernardino will hold their Summer Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Clubhouse at 31st and E Street. Featured are books, clothing, crafts, furniture, estate items, linens, plants, shoes, trash and treasures ! Shop in air conditioned comfort and enjoy snacks from our Little Kitchen. Come early for the great stuff ! Proceeds support our community service projects.

I.E. Debating Society
Sunday, May 18: Bobby Jo Chavarria, head organizer for the City of San Bernardino chapter of ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) will be the featured speaker at 4 p.m. at Denny’s Restaurant, 1180 Alabama St. in Redlands. ACORN's San Bernardino Chapter has just opened up a larger office so it can increase its staff to help citizens gain a greater voice in the community. One of its many activities is helping people with forclosures.

Amputee Connection of Redlands
Monthly meetings occur on the 3rd Sunday of each month at Redlands Community Hospital, 350 Terracina Blvd, Redlands, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Weisser Building. (Follow the green signs) Amputee programs and pot luck snacks.

Enjoy games and snacks and sign up for the Summer Reading program all on the same day! Children who sign up just need to read 5 books a week to earn a prize!
